i vote for ek chabhi....even though i think shweta is a very talented actress...i think she suffered from a lil' tia hangover in pyar ke do naam and ishq ki ghanti...but she finally arrived in ek chabhi and mmhv......her body language, voice, expressions suited d character of Moulli...and i guess it was tough 2 play mariyam in mmhv...but as usual she was very convincing...
i pick her ek chabhi's role as moulli as my fav over mariyam.........coz d serial itself was very entertaining and i really enjoyed d 3 part episodes in which shweta came...
good poll and pics arnav i guess mouli in ek chabi..the character was vibrant and very vivacious and shweta was awesome esp in the last scene and loved the entry and her interactions with the boys in the mohalla it was kind of funny and entertaining and she didnt remind me of tia..she was totally into mouli's character and by far in terms of quality the serial was much higher and better than any remix actor gave a cameo in . echpm is light and entertaining with right amount of emotional scenes and not saying this because shweta acted in it. and i always believe shweta is a very talented actress and i'd want to wait longer to see her onscreen than want her to return in a not-so-pleasant serial. And i liked mmhv its a good show very rarely we get to see spiritual shows on tv nowadays... and the best part is its based on true incidents nothing fictional and this is one character which she can proudly say is so so so bloody different from all the characters she played. in terms of acting, xpressions, dialouge delivery, body language, costumes each and everything was Different with a capital D and in pkdn she was slighty negative yet was cute no very cute
its got to be either ek chabbi or pyar ke ....shweta didnt have too much of acting to do in ishq and i like seeing shweta in younger roles...playing a married woman planning to have kid seemed a bit elderly for shweta...coz looks wise she still looks really young...otherwise her acting in that one was amazing
in pyar ke and chabi...we got to see a gamut of emotions...hurt, happiness, maturing...jealousy...lively spirtedness...dancing singing....western attitude..indian attitude....lot of shades in the short span that she did those roles..she did a better job that the leads ...when expressing her emotions effortlessly...esp in pyar ke
Ek Chabi Hai was my fav cameo but MMHV was challengin and Shweta's acting was fantabulous. And in PKDN she looked stunning she looked very pretty in traditional clothes
oK i havent seen IKG... saw just 2 vidclips which was uploaded in utube but i LOVED shweta in PKDN, MMHV and ek chabi
PKDN- LoVeDDDD her intro scene... the way she runs with the bags and then comes near the guy and then removes her glares and then that wink and smile ...PRICELESS... she looked scorchin HOTTTT. And ther was some antakshari thing in the next episode... and have to add she sings quite welll though shweta believes she is not a good singer but she was really good and compared to the other actors there.. she was verry good. Though i wish they showed her more in the wedding wala episode... she looked gorgeous in that red indian outfit and she was too cute in that mehndi scene she was too adorable. And the last scene was great... her last scene in the show. She seem anything but a negative character... she was the cutest sweetest and the most adorable bad gal in any indian tv serial... and she wasnt totally negatve she was more of a jealous young kid.. who was madly in love with tht krish guy but never indulged in those heavy planning plotting scheming business like the negative character in other soaps.
EK Chabi- LOVEd Itttt... Those 3 episodes were so entertaining. And we got to see her dance, saw her in indian, western, jeans, sari, skirt every kind of outfilts ..fabulous acting...she plays the lively, vibrant characters xceptionally well. she came from london wears western stuff n those short skirts and all and yet was so Indian and rooted... had knowledge abt classical music etc and was so sweet to all the people, liked all the simple things...wow and she looked such a dolll in the bengali attire... just cannot stop loving her
MMHV- It was so unlike Tia or any other roles... this character demanded maturity and intensity though we all belive shweta looks 2 young to play wife or mother but i have to admit she performed extraordinarlly well... it sure was challenging and shweta again lived upto our expectations... she is superb when it comes to expressions... the subtleness the pain she potrayed it all really well.
