As we know Shweta has bagged a meaty role of Sonya Jaiswal in a promising show called Amber Dhara...
her scenes were shown alternate days in the beginning episodes...and mostly with akshat who later turned out to be her bf....
but now as the circus track came to an end...sonya's track has gained momentum and got meatier than before...
so lets discuss shweta's first negative role of her career...and whether she's doing a good job of it...

1. How do u like Sonya's character?...Do u think it lacks depth?

i love soniyas charchter coz sh.e is so real. (many a times i find my self reacting exactly like her in simlar circunstances.. ... id rather see shweta lke this than .. "whimpering sacrificing miss goody two shoes" ishe is the next best thing i enjoywatching after Tia(soniiya some times reminds me of tia) Is Sonya justified in her hatred for Amber Dhara?...or is she totally bitchy ..... yes she s justified.. she s normal person.. thats how you react if your bf pays more attention to some one else other than you..i woudnt call it btchy.... . shenever did any thing deliberatly to hurt or harm them.. initially i think shweta wasn't comfortable in bringing out the venom in her character..but now...she seems to have got into the skin of her character Sonya...the way she tries to hide her hatred is splendidly done by shweta...
as for her character...i wish more was shown abt her family as for her dad..where he lives...and also wat does he do...does she live alone in Mumbai?...and much more..

she seems justified in the sense though Akshat is a nice guy..he's a confused lot..and clearly he gives more preference to amber than his gf sonya...so sonya detesting AD for that is quite obvious actually...and justified..also add to the fact that sonya hasn't done any harm to them till now...
she seems bitchy maily coz AD due to their conjointedness r in no position to compete with her...thus garner more sympathy..
3. How do u find her chemistry with the old Akshat?...with whom do u think..she looks good with old Akshat or the new one?
...she looked quite good with the old one..i.e Harshad Chopra...the scene where Amber sees them cozying to each other...sonya and akshat actually had chemistry...but still its no way nearer to seeing tia-ranveer i.e shweta-karan together....
as for the new akshat..there is no chemistry at all..which is just as good..anyways sonya is not supposed to get akshat so..lolz

i think she just might..this might happen if they introduce a new villian....considering sonya is after all their childhood friend...so things will be sorted out between them quite easily...
but the problem with positive character is..unless u r the lead or the love interest of the lead..u don't get to do much..like they say negative roles has high recall value...
and uptill now...though greyish..sonya's character is def very interesting...so for now..i don't want her character to change
5. and Finally...how do u find shweta's new look in Amber Dhara?
i think she looks fabulous in amber Dhara...and the best thing is she doesnot have a particular style...she's got to wear all type of western attires to indian traditional wear...her pink salwar kameez for diwali episode was so pretty and she looked awesum in it...but the next day...she wore a min skirt and black top..and looked just as sexy...
i also liked the polka dotted red jersey kinda top she wore when she finds out that AD r gonna stay back in mumbai....even the thing she wears when she performs the Don number..Aaj ki raat was very stylish....i love her look in AD
