Written and Directed by Saif Hyder Hasan Devdutt Bose, a crippled playwright from Allahabad, joins a theatre company in Mumbai. He forges a bond with the extraordinarily talented, extremely successful but equally detested Albert Rocha, known for his whimsical personality and short-lived relationships. Trouble arises when Devdutt's love interest, Aastha falls in love with Albert and they commence a volatile relationship, leaving Devdutt torn between his loyalty for Albert and his love for Aastha. Aastha is an intimate exploration of human relationships, a tale of love, pain and redemption.

AASTHA is a story of love, pain, passion, and fortitude. It is a tale of self-discovery where the physicality of love is pitted against its spiritual aspect. Devdutt Bose a talented but crippled playwright arrives from Allahabad "armed with nothing but strange ideas of objectivity in theatre". Here he comes across Albert, the biggest theatre actor of Mumbai and Aastha, a nubile debutante whose charms he cannot resist. Devdutt becomes Albert's 'lil boy' and Aastha someone whom he has to protect from Albert.
